MINATORY @minatoryofficial was formed as a metal/rock unit a decade ago by a bunch of high school friends, but are they still around? SHIT YEH, they ARE! A few weeks ago, they dropped over to VOLCANO their debut full-length, “Life Racer”. 10 songs, 10 years in the making and it’s totally kick-ass. We were really pissed to miss out on the album launch back in December, seeing MINATORY, @instantkarmaofficial and @geekssmile together must have been such sweet hell. This week VOLCANO is featuring our fave track from the album; “Intoleransi” (Intolerance), it's overkill, hyperactive oldskool joy! Slam it!
Nine years ago, a bunch of Singaraja students formed a band. They were driven by their mission of Truth and Justice, and so what better name to call themselves than ERECTION ATTACK? They themselves considered their musical skills back then to be rather mediocre, but so be it, they were on their youthful mission! Fast forward to now, and these guys have polished their skills and relaunched themselves as UNSA!NTED @unsaintedbandbali. With homage to their roots, they have named their debut album “Erection! Attack Vol. 1”. It’s getting heaps of spins on VOLCANO, listen-up up, this week we are featuring our fave track “LYS”.
JAY PRASETYO @jayprasetyoaor has been busy crafting new tunes. Just out is the new single “Terkenang”, but what we have decided to feature this week is his sooo smooth rework of our late-night favourite “Hidup” (Life) - Find this new version on the album “For Body and Soul”. Catch it on VOLCANO in the wee hours before dawn when we are feeling kinda sexy.
