VOLCANO Revives The Road Trip

Sure, Katie @katkills & Jongo @jonathangoehr deliver you the latest Balinese Rock, Punk and Metal, but we are not strictly genre bound. Sounds that are independent, imaginative and created by Balinese are on VOLCANO commercial-free - 24x7 364! - check the bio!

If SADE was a Bali local would VOLCANO play “Smooth Operator”? How about if GRACE JONES was a Bali local, would VOLCANO play “Slave to the Rhythm”? OF COURSE, we would! Bali is home to an artist of equal calibre - DIANA ROSA @dianarosa_music. VOLCANO is playing Diana’s “Can’t Get Enough” - A feminine expression of intimate desire between two souls in the presence of love, trust and respect.

Ardonik Takou @ardonik_takou is weeping for what he feels is the rapid breakdown of the quality of personal communication. “Miskin Sosial” (Social Poverty) sounds the warning that social media promotes superficial “friendship”, while so-called influencers bombard us with recommendations to buy useless shit while promoting behaviour that rewards the selfish. Listen out for “Miskin Sosial”. Slow down for a few minutes and think about it.

You may know OPX @opx.rox as the heart-throbbing rock god from The Wheels, but he has a softer side to his personality too! VOLCANO is playing “Pulang” (Home), an introspective acceptance of the journey of life. Take time to return home, learn to accept, learn to forgive, learn from your mistakes and then pick yourself up allowing you to appreciate the greatness of being alive. OPX has a solo album currently being mixed, it’s going to be with us soon and we can’t wait to get it on VOLCANO.

Talking about THE WHEELS @thewheelsband_, have they nodded off? We haven’t seen or heard anything new from them for almost two years now! This week VOLCANO revives the road trip. Start the engine and let’s hit the road! Listen up as we head outa town with “Aku Dan Kamu” (Me and You) and “Fanatisme Gila” (Crazy Fanaticism) on the radio!

VOLCANO’s art is by @rickybilly50. Download the posters in full resolution each week at www.radioseribatu.com
