VOLCANO is playing 409 Balinese bands!

VOLCANO is 100% Balinese Independent 24x7, commercial-free, via Smartphone, Laptop, Satellite, Cable TV, Apps, Car Radios, Smart TVs, Digital Streams, and even Inflight Audio. Our website (check the bio) explains how!

Back in 2019 when Putu and Mark were planning VOLCANO they questioned would there actually be enough alternative bands in Bali to feed a 24-hour music radio format? Short answer - shit yeh, it's clear there are HEAPS of bands! This is what Katie @katkills & Jongo @jonathangoehr have on the plater this week.

Over 98% of what we spin is from bands that are actively playing, creating and have released music within the last 18 months. At the moment VOLCANO is playing 408 Balinese bands! Yet still every day another band we have never heard of contacts us! Sometimes the band is iconic - a future favourite. That’s the case with REINOVER @reinover_official. Playing infectious psychedelic grunge - they become band number 409 in VOLCANO’s music library! Their debut single “Muted” takes a swipe at corrupt rats, it’s now spinning!

Do you find yourself tripping on the same mistakes? Do you keep choosing another dead-end escape? It’s Monday, the perfect day to break those stupid habits. From that bunch of island boys who love to play pop-punk, listen up for “Move Along”, the latest from COMFORT CRUSH @comfortcrush.

Two posts. A puppy. Three pears. Hmm, so let me think about it…. OK, I’ll let you control my brain, but don’t think that I’ll forget about it. HUNDRED MILÉS @hundredmilesid have dropped a stunning EP! 6 tracks of deep thinking! First up on the decks is don’t “Kill My Vibe”.

Denpasar’s alt rocker’s AMOKSA @amoksa_bali are back on the poster! The big news is that there are a bunch of smooth new clips about to drop, and SOON you will find their tracks on Joox, Spotify, Apple Music and more! “Terus Terang”, “Tresna Tulus Sujati”, and “Ajegang Gumine” are all on VOLCANO.

VOLCANO’s art is by Bali bowman, @rickybilly50. Download the posters in full resolution each week at www.radioseribatu.com
