Hey, it’s Monday so let’s get a peek at just some of the new stuff that Katie @katkills & Jongo @jongo_on_air have in their shows this week.

From the very beginning, VOLCANO has been following the breadcrumbs dropped by WAYAN JOS @wayanjos (AKA Ian Stephenson). His music featured heavily in our technical test transmissions back in 2018 when we were building the studios and testing our FM transmitter. (Yep, back in the day VOLCANO planned to be an FM station, but we dumped that idea as Indonesian media censorship laws would have impacted too heavily on the music we could broadcast - so we decided to go 100% digital)!

Wayan’s various projects are frequently heard on VOLCANO, and while we are a fresh and new music broadcaster playing only the very occasional “classic” track, oldies ZAT KIMA @zatkimia and DAMN MEDDLING KIDS @damnmeddlingkids still get some spins. Of course his RHYTHM REBELS @rhythm.rebels collaboration is spun like crazy.

Reza Achman @rhythm_shepherd, Rangga Dwi Nugraha @_lzrs and Wayan Jos are GALIJU @galijumusic. VOLCANO is spinning BOTH of GALIJU’s amazing new singles - listen up for “Here and Now” and “Fractals”. An album is on the way? OH WOW!

We caught the UNCLE BENDOTH @unclebendoth set at PicaFest, They SLAMMED it! Now spinning on VOLCANO is their latest heart breaker “Solitude”.

We also caught up with the very poppy DREY @musicbydrey_ at PicaFest - their set was six sick synth songs (SSSS) - LOVE IT - VOLCANO is now spinning their set opener “You Are My Everything”.

Ummm OK NIRDON @nirdon.official, we thought we were friends. And then you release a whole EP without telling us. YOU FUCKING BASTARDS! To spite you we are spinning it anyway - listen up for tracks “Bali” and “Lost Memory” from the EP "Balabatoe”.
