Milk and Happy

ASIAN, LOUD and WONDERFUL? It’s on KOMODO. We broadcast the stuff that others won’t - ONLY ASIAN ALTERNATIVE commercial-free 24x7 365! Tune in to KATIE @katkills & JONGO @jonathangoehr via Satellite, Cable TV Networks, Apps and Digital Streams right across Asia – and beyond!

THAILAND’s nu-metal & progressive rock band MULTITRACK @multitrackth have dropped their killer debut album “Temper”. It’s 6 songs (plus 1 bonus) and we love EVERY track! The lyrics reflect their emotions about society and the pressures of living in this world. The guys hope their music helps to try to make Thai society a little bit more bearable. We are kicking off our deep dive into the album with two tracks, “Repulsion” and “Indulgence”.

MOZEJ @moz__ej is a guitarist, songwriter, singer, and bedroom producer based out of SAUDI ARABIA. MOZEJ is Arabic for "bothersome", "unpleasant", "harsh", "annoying"...and that is ok, KOMODO is REALLY into it! Mostly heavy and sometimes slightly less heavy (HA!), listen up, we are spinning his latest releases “Doomed”, “Decades” and “Roads”.

In Beijing, CHINA we have found something truly epic. TASSI 水树, is the Post-Black / Blackgaze solo project of Dryad (Bliss-Illusion) @bliss.illusion. Embark on an audio adventure where TASSI navigates crazy, romantic, divine and broken spaces on a mystical journey. KOMODO listeners, leave the mundane behind for 8 minutes, we are playing “乙太之旅” (The Adventures Of Ethernet).

Any band with members named “Milk” and “Happy” is bound to be cute! KUNG-FU GIRL @kungfugirlband from Osaka JAPAN describe themselves as noisy, energetic, but also timid, yet ultimately just a little bit powerful indie punk band. Yep, that just about sums them up - in other words, they are AMAZING! New from the band is their second album “Sunset Park”, and from today KOMODO is spinning “Rabuka”, and the fuzzy track “Little Evil”. As a bonus, we are also playing a fave from a few years ago “Anorak”.
