If ya’ spend any reasonable amount of time tuned to KOMODO you will recognise SUBWAY DAYDREAM’s @subway_daydream fun alt/indie goodness ‘caz we spin their singles “Stand by Me” and “Timeless Melody” heaps. Now we are dropping heaps of their fresh tracks on the decks, this week we are featuring “New Day Rising” and “Radio Star”.
KOMODO’s boss frequently bores us with endless tales of when he worked in Bengaluru (back then called Bangalore) INDIA. The city is the headquarters of the ISRO, India’s space agency, but more importantly, the beer served at the iconic NASA pub, just off MG Road was icy cold. Alas, the pub has now gone, but “Of Planet”, the new single from Bengaluru’s SPACE HYDRA @spacehydramusic serves up the memories. Electronic-Alt at its best, the track features voice samples from renowned planetary scientist Carl Sagen. Immersive, atmospheric, and cinematic, catch the music video and preserve the planet.

Our Surabaya INDONESIA buddies BRUNOBAUER @brunobauer.post have dropped over their latest single “Sense”, and it provides more questions than answers. With a 2000s MTV commercial punk and EMO vibe, this track has fast become a KOMODO fave. Listen up - it’s spinning!
Sometimes the most amazing growls arrive in our mailbox. SENOPIT @senopit_grind who play grindcore in Tangerang INDONESIA have dropped us a couple of .aac files to get on the air.
