Hey, who are THE BAJAHITAM @thebajahitam? We have never spoken to them, never seen them play live, but we did notice them on a gig poster a few weeks ago - so we looked them up! Released back in April was the supper catchy brit-pop sounding single “Maria”. We missed it on release, but April wasn’t toooo long ago, was it? VOLCANO is spinning it as if it’s NEW STUFF!
It’s only a matter of time before a band that writes lyrics such as “I wake up from my nightmare with my favourite underwear” gets noticed by us! AFTER UP @afterup.id make their debut on VOLCANO this week, with their first single “Fake Love Story”. It’s pink, it’s blue - there is nothing fake about it - it’s LOVE!
THE B.C.A.P (Bayak Conspiracy Art Project) @the_b.c.a.p have dropped over to us a KILLER mp3 file “(((12 bar arak attack)))”. The song is a genre cocktail - rock, metal, hardcore, punk and blues, while still using rap techniques on vocals with rhymes that are created rhythmically following the grove and beat. OK - we think that describes it! Symbolising the relationship between humans, gods and demons, did we mention, that it’s all about ARAK? Hear it spinning on VOLCANO and PS the video is a MUST watch!
