ARJA @arja.waworuntu has assured us that the long-anticipated DEEP SEA EXPLORERS @deepseaexplorers album is on the way. The guys have around 10 songs unreleased so we expect the dribble of releases may soon turn into a downpour! Mixed in Ubud, and mastered in Amsterdam the new single “Wasted Times” is a contemplation of the meaning of wasted time through a light and harmonious composition, which is expressed poetically. And of course, from today it’s entered high rotation on VOLCANO!
ድንቅ dinik’I - Ethiopia comes to Bali! SOULFOOD @soulfoodmusic_ have just dropped the wonderful album “Amesigenalew”, the title being an expression of gratitude in Amharic, the primary Afroasiatic language of North Africa. The album is full of linguistic and literal variations with the intention that the lyrics, should be conveyed dynamically, not only in Indonesian or English. Tackling social issues, the 9 tracks tell stories that need to be told - straight to the point! EVERY track is playing on VOLCANO, our feature track this week is the delightful “E Dimmah".
