Lonesome, gloomy and falsity, that’s how TALODHY @talodhy has described his new single “Elation” to us! TALODHY is the solo project of DYONO DHYAKSO the former vocalist of JAVANESE band ROTTWEILLER RNR. “Elation” dives deep into the social media illusion of people seeming cheerful on the outside, but often internally feeling a failure, full of regret about their life, and hiding burdens. There is an EP on the way, so we are bound to be playing even more of TALODHY soon!
At KOMODO we LOVE getting mail, and lately, SATURDAY NIGHT KARAOKE @saturdaynightkaraokeblah has been sending us heaps of packages of cool music and artwork. The BANDUNG punk trio delivers their buzzpop, dirtpop, grindpop, and poppy punk rock at a hectic pace. Like, come on, it’s only the end of July and they have already sent KOMODO three amazing singles this year alone! Listen up, “Smitten”, “File Under”, and “Abnormal” are all spinning!
We started playing IX CHEL @ixchel.band back in March and since then they have never left our studio! They are for sure our favourite band from sunny KAJANG :) and so we just keep spinning them! Their latest single “Swan Song” has landed in the KOMODO studio this week, and joins “100 Yards Away” and our all-time fave “Tales of a Dreamer” to bang out on the airwaves across all 48 counties in Asia and beyond!
