Yeah, well that village is Julah, in Buleleng, and these days it’s better known as where Nyoman, Bian, and Septian bash out human rights and social justice tunes. The trio are called JULAH RAYA @julahraya and both “Human” and “Pelangi Berakhir” (The Rainbow Ends) are in the VOLCANO studio. North-eastern Bali rock at his finest!
It’s no secret that we absolutely love spinning FADTHILLS @fadthrills_official, and so we are stoked to have landed a copy of their debut LP release “Zenith Esoteric”. The album was launched in TABANAN with @lunaticcreation.official @minatoryofficial@nightmareonstage and @sargah_official guaranteeing it was a totally wild night! Being 10 tracks, and every single one a killer we are going to be playing the album on VOLCANO heaps - our feature this week is track 7, “Determination V”.
Celebrating the sin in our listeners' hearts, we keep our ears tuned to anything burning in the hell of @skullism.records. You know, some people are born with a curse. We usually keep ENDGATE’s @sufferto_endgate new single “Beyond Chaos, into the Void” chained up to a pole, but sometimes KATIE @katkills feels sorry for the wretched thing and brings it into the studio. It’s messed up.
Just up the M1 from RADIO SERIBATU’s master control, you may bump into the indie rock duo “Little Pleasures” @littlepleasuresmusic. Maybe have never heard of them, but that's all about to change! Bule’s, Aaron Lawrie (you will know him from Balian), and Tania Murray have roped in help from their buddies @putudenysurya (Dialog Dini Hari) and @madeedy_k (Soulfood) on their latest single “Back In Berlin”. The music was recorded in Bali and Tania laid down her vocals in Newcastle, Oz. As you would expect, it is amazing - and we a spinning it up to 6 times a day!
