BADDAY @badday.471 have mastered the art of “Flying Wingless” and what a soaring way to launch into Monday morning. Feeling shit, feeling hungover - this tune is going to get you up, going, and on the road with your Scoopy. I wonder why they named their band BADDAY, their vibe is more GOODDAY! These guys are like a Balinese version of the MONKEYS or the BAY CITY ROLLERS with POP-PUNK attitude!
A few weeks ago, SEASON IN THE SUN @seasoninthesun__ asked us a question. “When a band is on the poster, do they get played on the radio too?”
The answer is YES! Every song featured on the poster launches into high rotation - that means it’s played on VOLCANO a minimum of 3 to 4 times each week for 6 months!
Meanwhile... Kanman @kanman_jk keeps suggesting to us that Katie should play NIRDON @nirdon.official 3 to 4 times every HOUR (Ha - WTF), and Kartel @tude_prana is hitting us up to play GEMA @gaungbergema_ more often - Dudes - release MORE TRACKS - get MORE SPINS! :)
And, so now the day has finally arrived, SEASON IN THE SUN @seasoninthesun__ hits the airwaves with their amazing debut “Kill Your Taste”. Actually, I reckon Katie is going to sneak in EXTRA SPINS of this one - her ear can’t refuse - she’s playing it twice each day!
SONDERLAND @sonderland.official have sent us a two-line bio… “a child bastards. children from bali island play sloppy poppunk like there's no tomorrow”. OK, if you refuse to use capitalisation you are 100% getting on VOLCANO! Jongo is spinning “Goresan Luka” (Wound Scratches) - amazing synth, amazing tempo variations, amazing key changes!
WTF, brush off the cobwebs - LUCIDERS @luciders are back! A bit over a week ago they played a gig in Mengwi! To encourage them to come out more and be sociable VOLCANO is spinning their latest release (from 2018!!!) “Man In The Well”.
