Grrrrr it’s been a REALLY stressful week at our studio. Jongo @jonathangoehr is going STIR CRAZY during the lockdown - causing chaos and ridiculously ranting on KOMODO @radiokomodo because Katie @katkills was drinking hot milk in the studio. He claims the smell is offensive! Ghezzz! Putu, Kadek & Wayan seem to have managed to calm him down - he says he won’t mention Katie’s milk on air again – hopefully he sticks to his promise.
We can never get too much synth! “Feliz Aniversario” (Happy Anniversary) from Denpasar pop-punkers SUMMERDAY ON SUNDAY @summerdayonsunday.id has that classic analog synth sound that just makes you wanna dance and it’s one of our faves. And NOW in just a few days, the guys are dropping their new EP “Prepare Your Foot For Jump” - we can’t wait - ya gonna hear it on VOLCANO!
Denpasar’s NOCLEAR @noclear_official has just released “Rip Keadilan” (RIP Justice) - inspired by the conflicts that arise as retaliation to corrupt and power-hungry leadership in Indonesia. Sludgy and dark - the BEST - we are playing it on VOLCANO. If you want your own copy grab it on SoundCloud.
