Alas, ZAT KIMA (Chemicals) @zatkimia are no more, but of course, the brilliance of their members is heard across countless new projects. VOLCANO frequently plays tracks off their album “Candu Baru” (New Opium), one of the greatest in Balinese alternative rock history! ARHETA’s @arheta originals “Superman” and “Singing the Blues” are VOLCANO regulars. But have you heard her cover AMY WINEHOUSE’s “Back to Black”, BOB MARLEY’s “Is This Love”, or even EARTH WIND & FIRE’s “Fantasy”? Our fave of all time is her belting out THE PRODIGY’s “Breathe”! You will find heaps of ARHETA’s gems hiding out on YouTube.
CBNP @cbnp_band have another new original being mixed at the moment, but these guys are also a hard-working cover band, do they ever take a week off from live gigging? VOLCANO loves playing their originals “Sometimes” and “You” but catch them live to hear “WHITESNAKE”, “NO DOUBT” and even OZ bands “DIVINYLS” and “DRAGON”!
VOLCANO loves spinning ROBOKIDS @official_robokids “Amnesia Phobia”, “Bright Song” and “Zombie”. But did you know the very first song we played from them was a very funky cover of CAPITAL CITIES “Safe And Sound”! We featured it in our engineering test broadcasts back in 2019 before VOLCANO launched! Find it on YouTube!
