REBORN @rebornband712 are out with their new EP of Vietnamese Symphonic Death Metal - “Inner War”. The growls on the track “Shapeshifter” are so badass that we played it at the KOMODO launch. REBORN are really pissed off at someone with choice lyrics including - “You’re out of control. You’re fucking spineless. And I will watch you rot”. Errr – nice to meet you guys too!
LAANG 冷 (In English = Cold) @laangblackmetal play Terror Black Metal from Keelung City, Taiwan. Their music revolves around the terrifying visions experienced by LAANG’s frontman 楊海濤 while medically dead (after being shot) - and his emergence after being resuscitated. Mandarin vocals - orchestral instrumentation and mean erhu riffs - KOMODO is featuring the track “我的漂浮屍體 (My Floating Corpse) from the upcoming album - Xinteng 心疼 (Emotional Turmoil).
OK WOW - KOMODO is featuring “人生的戲作伙播” (The Drama of Life) from Taiwanese melodic metal masters URGING OBLIVION @urgingoblivion. Kin (vocals), Lee (Guitar), Fish (Guitar), Mason (Bass) and Ken (Drums) smash it - this song snakes its way into your head - and you can’t shake it out.
AFTERFALL @afterfallmy are home delivering Progressive Metalcore/Djent from Kuching, Sarawak (Borneo), Malaysia. KOMODO is playing their single “Averis” every few hours - it’s insane! DON’T miss the music video on YouTube - "Power doesn't corrupt people, people corrupt power”. Ummm - delicious.
