VOLCANO used to spin GOODBYE PARENTS @goodbyeparents back in our early days. “Bertaruh Darah” (Bet On Blood) is a song about struggle, voicing justice, and maintaining your voice to defend the rights of the lower class who are often ignored. It’s a message that is embedded in our VOLCANO DNA – so we have pushed the song back into Katie and Jongo’s daily playlist!
One of our fave tracks to spin is “Mencari Kausa” (Looking for Cause) from Doom/Sludge Metal masters CYCLOPS @cyclops.666 it’s 8 minutes 3 seconds of awesomeness. We dig CYCLOPS so much that this is their third appearance on the VOLCANO poster! Listen up for us also playing “Killed By Arsenic” and “Green”.
Crush! Emotion! Anxiety! STARTING YESTERDAY @startingyesterday_ have dropped over to VOLCANO a new single “Back to December”. It’s full-on dreamy pop-punk and we are spinning this LOTS on VOLCANO – It’s like Christmas in March! Such a great tune to start the day!
To be honest we are not exactly sure what SPRAI @rantai_anjing is! They are from Singaraja, they seem to be a band, they also seem to be a collective of musicians and artists but also a dog chain!!?? Their YouTube channel has helpful advice such as how to fix rips in your jacket and how to screenprint. What’s an even bigger mystery to us is how we received a whole bunch of mp3s from them - we are not sure how they arrived! Perhaps off a soon to be released (or maybe just released) second album? Anyway, the tracks are kick-ass and VOLCANO is playing them! Listen up for “Jabat Erat” (Closed Office), Revolusi Pergerakan (Revolution Movement) and heaps more!
