Harimau! Harimau!

Harimau! Harimau! The Balinese tiger has a well-defined place in Balinese folkloric belief and magic, wearing tiger parts provides power and protection. With Bali’s path out of the pandemic now set, Katie @katkills & Jongo @jonathangoehr are all ready to pounce on songs that power us to not lose hope!

Nursery Rhymes @nursery.rhymes just yesterday released their rocken’ “Beat the World’s Curse”. It’s great to sing along to, the lyric video went up on YouTube last night! The guys hope the song will give rise to hope and trust in overcoming the curse.

The first few seconds of the video clip for Dramas @dramasrock latest can be misleading! “Kembali” (Back) opens as a sweet love song (something you might hear on that bunny FM station in Denpasar rather than Volcano!). But WOW hang on, the song gets REALLY DARK fast and ends up with screeching! Betrayal, Revenge and the End. It’s a hit!

We are BIG fans of synth bubble noises! Katie @katkills just played the postal bubble noise song a few minutes ago and guess what… Palanxosonk’s @palanxosonk “Manusia Terhebat” (The Greatest Human) features wonderful keyboard bubbles too! “At this time all slumped, Don't let yourself drown & dissolve, Time to face reality & rise up, Be the greatest human!”. Rap on Yep!

Maoong @maoongrock are a bunch of stoners from Berawa. They have got off the beach, headed into the studio and just put down an amazing debut single – “Kelana” (Wanderer). Classic bikes, riding the whole world’s asphalt, united in diversity – it's all here. Catch the track on SoundCloud & Bandcamp. These guys are the BEST!

Roar! @rickybilly50 every week designs Volcano’s insane poster art. He is without a doubt the ruler of all stripes, Pop Surrealism, Lowbrow & Pulps.

Come and join us - Volcano plays ONLY Balinese Rock, Punk & Metal - 24 hours a day on Apps, Smart Speakers and even on your Television!
