Dropping just yesterday is the amazing new video single from MODJORIDO @modjorido, “Magic Hands”. It doesn’t seem to have hit the audio digital platforms yet (maybe it’s gonna be a video-only release?), but VOLCANO has a copy in the studio and KATIE @katkills snatched it and spun it for the first time at 6 AM this morning! King bears, devils and village mischief - in true wayang kulit tradition it’s EPIC! WOO - that guitar solo!
Back in August, we warned you about SHELLY TRISNA’s @shellytrisna involuntary musical imagery trick (aka Earworm). Yeh well, caution, ya can't escape it! Our fave alt-pop princess released the album “Dua Sisi” (Two Sides) last Thursday. The weird thing is that on some music platforms the album is classified in the “Easy Listening” genre. WOT! Ha, no way, it's actually full-on alternative pop synth earworms! Listen up, VOLCANO is spinning, “Tak Apa”, “Why”, “I Am King and Queen” and of course “Setitk Makna”.
VOLCANO caught an insane live set by CYCLOPS @cyclops.666 last month in Denpasar. We were really surprised to see the doom/sludge masters come out in the daylight hours - we had always assumed they were strictly nocturnal. VOLCANO is spinning their dark new single “Dozer”. At Friday’s VOLCANO staff meeting JONGO @jongo_on_air pointed out that there was something very “Bevis” sounding about some of the vocals on LUDICIA’s @ludiciaofficial new single “Apocalypse”. Yep…
